Our Policies

Rates
Rates are based on double occupancy and do not include 5.3% sales and 7% lodging taxes. Only the Cottage will accommodate a third person since the love seat in the Cottage makes into a twin sleeper. Charge for third person in room is $15.00 per night and will be added to your bill at time of payment. Please confirm in advance by separate email or phone call the addition of a guest to your room. Cash, personal checks, MasterCard, Discover and Visa accepted.  We do not accept American Express or BedandBreakfast.com gift certificates.

Reservations and Charging Credit Cards
A credit card number is required to secure your reservation, and payment is taken at time of check-in. Your reservation confirmation is e-mailed to you as soon as possible after completion of reservation form.

Cancellation
If cancellation notice is received seven days prior to scheduled arrival, your card will not be charged. If cancellation is necessary within seven days of your scheduled arrival, a gift certificate will be issued for future use if room cannot be rebooked. Same-day cancellations and no-shows will be charged one night’s lodging, plus tax. (Exception: For Virginia Tech Graduation and for Bristol NASCAR race weekend, payment is taken at time of booking, and no refund will be made.)

~Check in between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. (EARLY OR LATE ARRIVALS MUST BE ARRANGED IN ADVANCE.)

~Check-out by 11:00 a.m.

~We are sorry, but we cannot accommodate children or pets.

~We are a smoke-free inn – smoking is only permitted in designated outside areas (no smoking or use of candles in rooms or on patios or balconies).

Gift Certificates
Looking for that perfect gift for someone who already has everything? Consider a gift certificate for a stay here at Trinkle Mansion Bed & Breakfast. You can purchase gift certificates for a night’s stay in any room, or you may choose to purchase a dollar amount that will go toward a night’s stay here. And you don’t need to specify a particular date – we let your guests decide when they wish to plan their visit. Just call or e-mail us to make arrangements.
